Civils Contracts Manager

Location: Inverness
Position: Permanent
Salary: £75,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced and driven Civils Contracts Manager to join our growing team based in Inverness, overseeing a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Highlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong leadership, commercial awareness, and operational experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and project delivery personnel
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
  • Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, and contractual performance
  • Maintain strong client relationships and attend progress meetings
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and company procedures
  • Support planning, procurement, and resource allocation across projects
  • Drive quality standards and continuous improvement throughout delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within civil engineering
  • Strong background delivering infrastructure, roads, drainage, utilities, or earthworks projects
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Strong commercial and operational management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
  • SMSTS certification preferred
  • Full UK driving licence required
