You will be responsible for delivering a professional Building Control service across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial developments, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation. The successful candidate will be confident managing their own workload, undertaking site inspections, assessing applications and providing technical advice to a range of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Carry out site inspections on a variety of building projects. Assess plans and applications for compliance with Building Regulations. Provide technical guidance to developers, architects, contractors and members of the public. Ensure projects comply with current Building Regulations and Building Safety legislation. Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records. Support the Building Control team in delivering an efficient and customer-focused service. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Registered as a Class 2 Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator. Previous Building Control experience within a Local Authority or Registered Building Control Approver environment. Strong working knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation. Ability to manage a varied caseload independently. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. What's on Offer? £75 per hour.
