Rate: 300 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 6-Month Ongoing Contract
Hours: Full-Time

Vox Consultants are recruiting for an experienced Registered Building Inspector to join a Local Authority in West London on a 6-month ongoing contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Building Inspector to work on a varied portfolio of projects, carrying out inspections, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, and providing high-quality technical advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
• Produce accurate and detailed inspection reports following site visits.
• Assess building work and identify any areas requiring remedial action.
• Provide professional advice to contractors, developers, architects, and members of the public.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure projects progress efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current legislation, policies, and best practice.

About You:

• Registration as a Registered Building Inspector (RBI).
• Previous experience working within Building Control, ideally in a Local Authority setting.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
• Experience carrying out site inspections and producing detailed technical reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
