We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major power and energy infrastructure projects across the Birmingham region and wider UK network.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a developing QS to gain hands-on experience within a high-profile energy programme, working alongside experienced commercial professionals on complex infrastructure schemes.
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of substation, overhead line, and associated energy infrastructure projects, gaining valuable exposure to NEC contract environments and large-scale utilities delivery.
You will work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers, developing your technical and commercial skills while contributing to live project delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement (2 days per week on site in Birmingham), providing a strong balance between site exposure and office-based development.
