Your new company
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Plumber / Water Hygiene Remedial Operative to support a programme of remedial works across a large commercial contract. The role will involve carrying out post-risk assessment actions to ensure full compliance with water hygiene and Legionella control standards.
Your new role

  • Delivering Legionella and water hygiene remedial works in occupied and vacant buildings
  • Servicing, repairing, and replacing TMVs
  • Identifying and removing redundant pipework and dead legs
  • Carrying out pipework alterations and outlet replacements
  • Improving access to systems and installing isolation valves where required
  • Completing remedial works on cold water storage tanks
  • Addressing hot water return and circulation issues
  • Undertaking flushing and purging of water systems

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in plumbing and water hygiene remedial works
  • Strong understanding of Legionella control and water hygiene principles
  • Working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274 Part 2, and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations
  • Ability to work independently across a large, multi-building estate
