Drainage Engineer Duties & Responsibilities • Carrying out drainage repairs and maintenance • High-pressure water jetting • CCTV drainage surveys and inspections • Diagnosing and resolving drainage blockages • Excavation and repair of damaged drainage systems • Planned and reactive maintenance works • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard • Producing accurate job reports and documentation • Providing excellent customer service on-site Drainage Engineer Requirements • Previous experience within drainage engineering • Full UK Driving Licence • Ability to diagnose drainage issues effectively • Experience operating jetting equipment • Knowledge of health and safety procedures • Strong communication and customer service skills Desirable Qualifications & Experience • CCTV Surveying experience • HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) qualification • Street Works (NRSWA) accreditation • Confined Space certification • Experience with drainage excavations and repairs Drainage Engineer Package • Competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum • Permanent position • Company vehicle provided (where applicable) • Overtime opportunities • Ongoing training and development • Career progression opportunities • Immediate starts available If you are an experienced Drainage Engineer looking for a new opportunity, we'd like to hear from you. My client is one of the top specialist earthmoving contractors in the UK- in terms of turnover, profile and working environment/staff satisfaction . Engineers/Surveyors need earthworks contracting experience and proficiency with LSS and GPS. You will need to be accurate and methodical in your work and be able to operate as part of the on-site team. Agents need the same background, a Civil Engineering degree and to be strong on the documentation side RAMS, Method Statement and so on. You will also have plenty of time out in the field and not be constantly desk-bound. Salaries and packages are open to negotiation and there s a lodge allowance for those working away. Base salaries will be between 65-85k and the benefits package also includes an achievable bonus scheme .
