A leading project management and infrastructure consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Nottingham team. The Senior Project Manager will lead major public-sector infrastructure and built-environment commissions, with a particular focus on pre-contract strategy, governance and stakeholder management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong experience working alongside public authorities. The successful Senior Project Manager will help shape programmes before construction begins, while the Senior Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and establish clear governance structures. The Senior Project Manager will play a central role in setting projects up for successful delivery.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager will lead complex infrastructure and regeneration projects through the pre-contract stages. Responsibilities will include programme set-up, governance planning, stakeholder engagement, consultant coordination, risk management and procurement strategy.
The Senior Project Manager will work closely with local authorities, public bodies, technical advisers and delivery partners. They will establish robust reporting processes, decision-making structures and programme controls, using a structured approach comparable to PRINCE2.
This is a governance-heavy position rather than a purely site-based delivery role. The successful candidate must be confident managing multidisciplinary teams and navigating complex stakeholder environments before works commence.
