Job Description
Our Client is a well run and expanding M+E Contractor whom are looking for a experienced Mechanical Estimator to help deliver a long term framework of construction based new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, residential, care home and government sectors. Project typically 1million to 15 million. This is genuinely great place to work with excellent working environment.
The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar estimating role on the mechanical side. This is an exceptional role with an exciting company and not just about pricing but meeting clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.
As an Estimator you will have strong process driven experience, and take responsibility for:
- Preparation of detailed mechanical estimates across a range of projects
- Take-offs and pricing for HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical services
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Creating cost plans, value engineering options, and tender submissions.
- Helping with project bids.
- Helping manage Quality delivery.
About You
- Good experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or M&E contracting
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods
- Experience of working with drawings, specifications, and estimating software
