Streetlighting Operative

Location: Uxbridge, Hillingdon
Pay: £14 £17 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking motivated Streetlighting Operatives to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of surfaces, assisting with road reinstatement, and carrying out street lighting installation.

A valid driving licence is essential, and experience in street lighting, civils, or related industries is preferred but not essential

Ideal Candidate

• Holds a valid Driving Licence with at least 1 year of driving experience
• Experience in road raking for asphalt paving/surfacing (preferred)
• Self-motivated, positive, and eager to learn
• Comfortable performing labouring and civils tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of street lighting
• Carry out road reinstatement tasks on various surface types
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Follow safety protocols at all times
