Conrad Consulting is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded, forward-thinking consultancy in Hertfordshire as they look to appoint a talented Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor who enjoys a strong project bias, working across a diverse portfolio while developing expertise in technical delivery and client-facing responsibilities.

The Role
You will be involved in a wide range of professional and project-led building surveying duties, including:

• Delivering project-focused building surveying services across multiple sectors
• Preparing detailed specifications and schedules of work
• Managing projects through all stages, from inception to completion
• Acting as Contract Administrator on JCT contracts
• Advising on and navigating Building Regulations and planning applications
• Providing technical guidance with a strong emphasis on building technology

About You

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Ideally MCIOB or MRICS qualified
• Experience in project-led surveying roles within a consultancy environment
• Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration
• Solid understanding of Building Regulations and planning processes
• Excellent specification writing and technical detailing skills
• Proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware
