Electrical Project ManagerLocation: Leeds
Salary: £55,000 + £8,000 Car Allowance

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking for your next long-term opportunity? Hays is supporting a well-established M&E contractor who is strengthening their delivery team across Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects, lead skilled teams, and join a forward-thinking business offering genuine stability and progression.
The RoleAs Electrical Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical projects-ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. You'll manage planning, scheduling, procurement, commercial oversight, and day-to-day team coordination. You'll act as the key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring smooth project delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of commercial and industrial electrical projects
  • Overseeing planning, resourcing, procurement, and financial control
  • Ensuring compliance with all H&S legislation and company procedures
  • Conducting site audits and reviewing RAMS
  • Leading electricians, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Managing client relationships and providing regular progress updates
  • Monitoring budgets, variations, and profitability
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within building services, commercial, or industrial environments
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and regulations
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
  • Commercially aware with strong budget management experience
  • Full UK driving licence
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent electrical qualification)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • SMSTS / SSSTS (desirable)
  • ECS/CSCS card (desirable)
