Mechanical Supervisor (NG Substations)

Winshall are seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to join the company to work on hV substation projects across the UK.

The role involves installation in a high-voltage environment, adhering to National Grid safety standards. You will be responsible for the supervision of site activities and assisting the site manager to ensure compliance with:

• Health, safety and environmental requirements
• Quality procedures
• Programme compliance
• Site documentation procedures
• Site records

You will need to complete quality documentation, ensure daily inspections are carried out and assist with site inductions. You must have previous experience working on National Grid projects.

• Requirements also include
• SSSTS/SMSTS and National Grid Competent Person
• Strong communication skills are required along with problem solving abilities and anticipating complications.
• You are expected to have a good understanding of computer literacy
