Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plant Operative specialising in the operation of excavators and telehandlers for a busy treatment plant in Carryduff, Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery involved in waste processing, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. The role includes manual handling, performing routine maintenance on equipment, optimising workflow, and adhering to all health and safety policies. You will work closely with the site team, supporting waste segregation and processing activities, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
- Experience operating excavators and telehandlers (above 9m)
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks accurately
- Reliable with excellent attendance record
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Full driving licence (desirable)
