Electrician

Commercial Electrician Needed - Harwell (Didcot)

We're looking for an experienced commercial electrician for a long-term project based in Harwell, Didcot.

Details:

• Start date: End of April (TBC)
• Duration: Minimum 6 months
• Hours: 8 hours per day (30-minute break)
• Rate: 30- 34 ph (DOE and tickets)

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, commissioning, and upgrade support of specialist electrical systems
• Electrical wiring of panels, control racks, and equipment (including high current/voltage systems)
• Installation of cable containment systems (flexible and rigid)
• Termination of multipole and coaxial connectors (solder, crimp, cage clamp)
• Carrying out safety testing prior to energisation and periodic inspection/testing
• Fault finding, repair, and ongoing system maintenance
• Working closely with project teams and other contractors to ensure timely delivery

Requirements:

• Valid Gold Card
• 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
• IPAF (preferred)
• Strong experience in commercial 1st & 2nd fix
• Confident in testing, inspection, and fault finding
• Own tools and PPE
