Job Title: Fire Damper Engineers (x4)

Location: Guernsey Island

We are looking for 4 experienced Fire Damper Engineers to join an 8-week project in Guernsey. This is a rotational assignment with flights, accommodation and daily food allowance fully covered by the client.

£380 per day

• Travel date: 10 May
• Project start: 11 May
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Rotation: 10 days on / 10 days off throughout the project
• Working days during rotation: Monday Sunday
• Working hours: 08 30 (8 hours per day)

• Flights paid by the client
• Hotel accommodation provided
• £25 per day food allowance (capped)

• Carry out inspection, testing and maintenance of fire dampers in accordance with fire safety regulations and industry standards
• Complete drop testing and functionality checks of fire dampers
• Identify faults, defects and non-compliance issues and carry out remedial works where required
• Accurately record findings and produce compliance reports and certification
• Work closely with site teams and follow all health & safety procedures
• Ensure all work meets BS 9999 / BS 9991 and relevant fire safety legislation
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials in safe working condition
• Communicate progress and issues clearly to supervisors and project managers

• Proven experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
• Relevant fire safety certifications and competency
• Ability to work rotational shifts away from home
• If not a UK national, must hold Settled or Pre-Settled Status
