The Opportunity
Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting for a Trainee Site Manager on behalf of a reputable main contractor delivering projects across Medway, Kent and London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their construction career, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of fit out, refurbishment, and cut & carve projects.

You will work closely with experienced Site Managers and project teams, developing your skills while contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of construction sites
• Support coordination of subcontractors and site activities
• Monitor health & safety compliance and site standards
• Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintain site records, reports, and documentation
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams

About You

• Previous experience within the construction industry (site-based experience preferred)
• Exposure to fit out, refurbishment, or cut & carve projects is advantageous
• Must hold relevant, in-date site tickets (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent)
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and progress
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Must be based within a commutable distance to Medway and London
