Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: 26k - 36k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company growth, our client is recruiting for a knowledgeable Water Treatment Engineer to cover contracts in the Midlands region. It is important that applicants hold experience with both domestic hot and cold and process water systems, and will be proficient in closed system testing and cooling tower cleans / disinfections. You will be joining a highly respected and professional consultancy, with a nationwide presence and reputation for offering thorough training and development. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven track record working as a Water Treatment Engineer
• Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Will ideally hold industry-related qualifications/training (e.g. TMV servicing, Cleans and Disinfections, Cooling Towers)
• Hardworking ethic
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proficient using IT software

The Role:

• Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
• CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
• Sampling and testing of closed systems
• TMV servicing
• Mains injections
• Showerhead and outlet descales
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Producing regular service reports
• Maintaining high levels of service
