About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter / Multi-Trader to join our growing team working within the social housing sector. This role involves carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works in occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of carpentry work including doors, kitchens, flooring, and repairs
  • Complete multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and decorating
  • Perform responsive and planned maintenance in social housing properties
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants homes
  • Accurately record job details and materials used

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trader, ideally within social housing
  • Strong carpentry skills with additional trade knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds) preferred but not essential with strong experience
