About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tiler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in residential and/or commercial projects. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality finishes that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying underlayment
- Lay tiles using adhesives and grout, ensuring precision and alignment
- Repair and replace damaged tiles as needed
- Interpret plans and follow design specifications
- Maintain tools and ensure a clean, safe work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tiler or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to use tiling tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Good physical stamina and ability to work on-site
- Knowledge of different tile materials and installation techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in tiling or construction
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in both residential and commercial projects
