Gas Engineer required for our client, they are a well known and specialist Heating contract based in Ipswich. They provide a full remit of mechanical services, including, service, repair, design, and installation of heating, ventilation, electrical, renewable energy, and air conditioning systems across commercial and domestic properties. They currently require the Commercial Gas Engineer to attend sites throughout Ipswich and surrounding areas.
Gas Engineer Responsibilities
- Service and repair to commercial heating systems, includinng boilers, pipework, and associated mechanical equipment
- Attend breakdown works, troubleshooting faults, diagnosis, and repair
- Assist with installation works as and when required
- Repair and maintenance of domestic heating systems within care homes and large residential properties
- Attend sites such as local authority buildings, schools, leisure centres, sports stadiums, offices, etc.
Gas Engineer Requirements
- ACS Commercial Gas Safe Tickets (Advantageous)
- ACS Domestic Gas Safe Tickets
- OFTEC or LPG (Advantageous)
- Experience in the service and repair to commercial heating systems
- NVQ Level 3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent (Advantageous)
- Based in a commutable distance of Ipswich
Gas Engineer Remuneration
- Salary 40,000 - 48,000
- Working hours 8:00am to 4:00pm
