Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Document Controller to join a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor based in London. This is an office based role supporting the Estimating Department ensuring accurate management, control and distribution of project documentation throughout the tendering process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all incoming and outgoing project documentation for the estimating team
  • Ensure all tender documents, drawings, and specifications are correctly logged, tracked and stored
  • Distribute documentation to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Maintain document control systems in line with company procedures
  • Assist estimators with document retrieval, version control and filing
  • Monitor and update document registers and trackers
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers regarding document submissions
  • Ensure document compliance with project and company standards
  • Support the wider pre construction team with administrative tasks where required

Desirable

  • Experience supporting an estimating or pre-construction team
  • Understanding of M&E or construction project workflows
  • Strong Document Control experience, intrested in estimating
