We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Document Controller to join a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor based in London. This is an office based role supporting the Estimating Department ensuring accurate management, control and distribution of project documentation throughout the tendering process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all incoming and outgoing project documentation for the estimating team
- Ensure all tender documents, drawings, and specifications are correctly logged, tracked and stored
- Distribute documentation to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner
- Maintain document control systems in line with company procedures
- Assist estimators with document retrieval, version control and filing
- Monitor and update document registers and trackers
- Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers regarding document submissions
- Ensure document compliance with project and company standards
- Support the wider pre construction team with administrative tasks where required
Desirable
- Experience supporting an estimating or pre-construction team
- Understanding of M&E or construction project workflows
- Strong Document Control experience, intrested in estimating
