Contract Construction Civil Engineer Management

Job Description

My client are a regional water & civil engineering specialist who are currently looking for a Health & Safety Manager to cover various civil engineering schemes across the Midlands region.

H&S Manager Requirements:

  • Experience managing health & safety for civil engineering / water schemes.

  • Minimum 5 years experience.

  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Construction, IOSH, etc.)

H&S Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all health & safety aspects of the project.

  • Ensure compliance with current H&S legislation and company policies.

  • Prepare and review RAMS, CPPs and site documentation.

  • Conduct site inspections and audits.

  • Lead toolbox talks and site briefings.

  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors and external bodies.

  • Promote a strong safety culture on site.
