Design & Build Commercial Fit-Out Leadership Opportunity

We're working with a fast-growing Design & Build contractor delivering high-quality M&E solutions across commercial office fit-out projects. Established just 5 years ago, the business is already turning over 7-8m and building a strong reputation in the CAT A & CAT B space.

They're now looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take ownership of mechanical design and play a pivotal role in shaping their in-house M&E design capability.

The Opportunity
This is more than just a senior engineer role - it's a chance to build and lead a design function within a growing contractor. You'll be the go-to technical authority, working closely with project teams and clients to deliver practical, buildable solutions.

You'll:

• Lead the mechanical design delivery across multiple fit-out projects
• Act as the technical lead, troubleshooting and driving engineering quality
• Take ownership of client engagement and design coordination
• Manage and mentor a small team of engineers (with plans to grow)
• Help shape and scale the M&E design department

What They're Looking For

• Strong background in mechanical building services design
• Proven experience delivering CAT A & CAT B office fit-out projects
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced Design & Build environment (highly desirable)
• Ability to lead projects technically and commercially
• Experience managing or mentoring engineers
• Confidently engaging directly with clients and stakeholders
