Quality Assurance Manager / QA Manager

Overview of the Role

The client is seeking a hands-on, site-based QA Manager to work closely with project teams and maintain high standards of quality and compliance across live construction projects.

The role will be split between the client s Central London head office and overseeing multiple live projects across London, with a strong day-to-day site presence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience (Atleast 2 years) as a QA Manager / Quality Assurance Manager within the construction industry

  • Strong High-rise background, ideally gained within a main contractor environment

  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, inspection regimes, and quality control processes

  • Good working knowledge of the Building Safety Act (BSA)

  • Comfortable being on site day to day and engaging directly with project teams

  • Able to manage quality across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must have had exposure to contribute towards business quality managment systems. And be able to bench mark 3rd party instepections

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project teams, site managers, and subcontractors to embed quality throughout all stages of construction

  • Support the implementation and day-to-day operation of the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Review, interpret, and work confidently with construction drawings, specifications, and inspection frequencies

  • Review and manage Project Quality Management Plans (PQMPs), Contractor Quality Plans (CQPs), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

  • Carry out QA audits, inspections, and quality reviews, tracking and closing out non-conformances

  • Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act (BSA) and all associated quality and safety documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA records and inspection reports, using digital systems where applicable

  • Identify quality issues on site, challenge poor practice, and drive corrective actions

  • Promote a positive quality culture through leadership, communication, and consistency
