Client Information

Our client holds a long-term facilities and project delivery contract across multiple UK sites including Bristol, Derby, Yorkshire, and Durham. They deliver a wide range of construction and refurbishment projects valued between 500k and 2m.



Senior Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities

Manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender submissions within tight turnaround periods.
Oversee subcontract procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
Monitor project costs, valuations, variations, and cash flow to ensure profitability.
Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial success across groundworks, fit-outs, and refurbishment schemes.



Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or refurbishment projects.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing projects in the 500k- 2m range.
Excellent knowledge of contract forms (e.g., JCT) and cost control processes.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across multiple sites.
