SHEQ Advisor - Energy (T&D / Distribution Projects)
Location: Multiple Sites (Coventry, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Cheltenham, Gloucester)
Contract: Temporary (Outside IR35)
Start Date: 20/04/2026 (ASAP)
End Date: 10/07/2026
Rate: 350 - 500 per day Outside IR35 (DOE)
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (5 days per week)

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support a portfolio of live energy distribution projects across multiple UK sites.
This role will involve working across several locations on a rotating basis (typically one site per day), ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance are maintained throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular Health & Safety inspections across live project sites
• Provide expert SHEQ advice and guidance to site teams and management
• Ensure high safety standards are consistently maintained
• Review and approve RAMS where required
• Deliver Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and safety briefings
• Carry out incident investigations and reporting when necessary

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (Essential)
• Strong background working on energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects
• Experience across multi-site operations
• Ability to engage effectively with site teams and drive safety culture

Additional Information:
Role will cover 8 sites total:

• 4 in Coventry
• 1 in Tamworth
• 1 in Nuneaton
• 1 in Cheltenham
• 1 in Gloucester

Candidates based in the Coventry / Birmingham region will be ideally suited due to travel requirements
