The Company

We re partnering with a well-regarded civil engineering contractor with a strong footprint across the South West. Established and financially secure, the business continues to grow through long-term frameworks and repeat business, delivering a consistent pipeline of highways and infrastructure projects.
Their expertise lies in highways structures and reinforced concrete works, including bridges, retaining walls, culverts, parapets, and associated highway infrastructure. Projects are typically small to mid-sized in value, delivered across the region south of Bristol.
With a reputation built on technical excellence, collaboration, and dependable delivery, they are known for producing safe, high-quality infrastructure schemes that clients trust.
With a strong order book and secured framework pipeline, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to strengthen their Bristol-based team.

The Role

As Site Agent, you ll take responsibility for delivering multiple highways structures and reinforced concrete schemes, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
You ll oversee day-to-day site operations, driving performance across safety, quality, and programme, while acting as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key duties will include:
  • Leading client and site progress meetings
  • Coordinating subcontractors and supply chain activities
  • Managing, mentoring, and supporting site teams
  • Producing short-term plans and look-ahead programmes
  • Preparing and reviewing RAMS
  • Interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical details
  • Overseeing quality assurance and health & safety compliance
  • Ensuring adherence to framework and company processes
The Ideal Candidate

We re seeking a proactive and experienced Site Agent with a solid background in civil engineering, particularly within highways structures environments.
You will have:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience working with a civil engineering main contractor
  • A strong track record delivering highways structures and RC projects
  • Familiarity with framework-based delivery environments
  • A commercially aware and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A detail-focused approach to safety, quality, and delivery
