With a healthy pipeline of secured projects, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join their Exeter team.
The Role As Site Agent, you ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of live civil engineering projects, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with programme expectations.
You ll act as the central point of coordination between the client, subcontractors, and internal teams, driving site performance while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and contributing to client and site progress meetings
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors on site
- Supervising, motivating, and supporting site teams
- Developing short-term plans and look-ahead programmes
- Preparing, reviewing, and approving RAMS
- Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Overseeing quality control and health & safety compliance
- Ensuring adherence to company and project procedures
The Ideal Candidate We re looking for a confident and driven Site Agent with a solid background in civil engineering and proven experience delivering infrastructure schemes.
You will have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working for a civil engineering main contractor
- A strong track record delivering highways, infrastructure, or structures projects
- A commercially aware and solutions-oriented approach
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A technically focused mindset with a strong emphasis on safety and quality
