Job Description:
I am currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join my clients team on a part-time basis. This role is based on a well-maintained children's residential care estate located on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of grounds maintenance duties to ensure the outdoor areas remain safe, tidy, and presentable for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grass cutting, strimming, and edging
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- General upkeep of landscaped areas
- Leaf clearing and litter picking
- Basic maintenance of tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role preferred
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Able to pass a PVG check
