Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
Support the commercial team in the delivery of groundworks packages across multiple projects
Assist with cost planning, valuations, and ongoing budget management
Support subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payment processes
Prepare and review variations, change orders, and final accounts
Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial procedures
Attend site meetings and liaise with operational teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery
Produce regular commercial reports and assist with financial forecasting

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction (Degree, HNC, HND, T-Level, BTEC)
Based within a commutable distance of Grantham
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required
