As a result, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their groundworks division, taking commercial responsibility for key projects and playing a pivotal role within the team.

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
Full commercial management of groundworks packages across multiple projects
Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
Management of subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
Preparation, submission, and agreement of valuations and final accounts
Identification, pricing, and negotiation of variations and change orders
Ensuring compliance with contract terms and commercial processes
Working closely with site and operational teams to drive cost-effective delivery
Producing accurate commercial reports and providing input to senior management
Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor role
Essential: Groundworks / civils experience
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction (Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent)
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
