Working Foreman (Carpentry background)

This is a temp to perm position

Working Foreman required for high end 3 bed property in the Belgravia area of London.

Reporting to a visiting construction manager the successful Foreman will look after the running of the site, make sure deadlines are met, ensure quality is maintained and communicate with subbies, face to face, on the phone and via email. The first project is roughly 10 months and there are similar follow on projects.

Looking for an experienced tradesman (Preferably Carpentry, but open to other trades). The successful applicant will be able to manage their time between working on the tools and managing the team and project as a whole.

Do you have:

• A good eye for detail
• The ability to lead and work as part of a team
• The ability to read project drawings
• The ability to record site progress and keep the site diary
• The ability to liaise with a visiting project manager and clients, reporting site progress.

Applicants will require CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid

The position will start towards the end of April, potentially a little earlier on a different company site to gain experience of company methods etc.
