Job Description
Delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team and support the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
- Manage project costs from initial estimates through to final accounts
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare tender documentation
- Monitor project expenditures and control costs to ensure budgets are met
- Prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and clients
- Ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and cost control
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, QS or estimating software)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
