Job Title: Experienced Site Investigation Operative

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Investigation Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual with a strong background in ground investigation and site work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out trial pits and excavations, including accurate logging

• Conducting hand augured boreholes and recording findings

• Collecting soil samples in line with ground investigation best practices

• Performing in-situ soil strength testing and maintaining detailed records

• Assisting as a second operative on rotary augered boreholes

• Completing drainage CCTV inspections and producing clear reports

• Using CAT & Genny equipment safely and effectively

• Undertaking crack and level monitoring

• Carrying out surface reinstatement works

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Valid CSCS card

• Strong understanding of site investigation procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills

• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
