Site Supervisor (M&E / Electrical Bias)

Location: South West England & South Wales (travel required)
Type: Permanent - 50,000 to 65,000 (DOE)



About the Opportunity

We are working with a leading infrastructure and energy contractor to recruit an experienced Site Supervisor (M&E) to support major transmission and renewable energy projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering critical infrastructure, including high-voltage substation works up to 400kV, supporting the UK's transition to a more sustainable energy network.



The Role

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing mechanical and electrical site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with site management teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, taking responsibility for day-to-day site supervision and coordination.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise site activities across multiple M&E disciplines

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

  • Monitor quality procedures and programme timelines

  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation

  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment

  • Support site inductions and daily briefings

  • Conduct inspections and ensure works meet required standards

  • Assist in implementing safety, health, environmental, and sustainability (SHES) plans

  • Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to meet project objectives



What We're Looking For

  • Electrical bias with experience on substation or high-voltage projects

  • Previous experience on major transmission or infrastructure projects

  • Relevant qualifications such as:

    • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)

    • CSCS / CPCS / ECITB Supervisor Safety Passport

  • Experience working as a Competent Person (or similar authorisation)

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
