Job Description



Our client, a reputable North West based housing developer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support delivery on a high-quality new build housing scheme in the Leyland area of Preston.

The Role:

  • Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Conduct plot inspections at various build stages
  • Produce and manage snagging/defects lists
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation
  • Liaise with the Customer Care team to coordinate inspections of completed plots
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners and NHBC inspectors
  • Ensure work is delivered to NHBC and company standards

About You:

  • Prior experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build residential housing
  • Strong knowledge of snagging, finishing, and plot handover processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (Health & Safety qualification)
  • Valid CSCS Supervisor Card
  • First Aid at Work certificate
