The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading UK infrastructure services organisation to appoint a Group Health & Safety Director in a high-impact, business-critical leadership role. Operating across water, energy, transport, telecoms and aviation, the group is at a pivotal stage, with a clear ambition to evolve towards a more mature, behaviourally driven Health & Safety culture.

The Individual

You will bring the credibility and gravitas to operate at executive level, with the ability to challenge constructively while bringing people with you. This role requires someone who can operate through influence, build alignment across divisions, and drive a step change in culture.

The Role

• Provide strategic, group-wide Health & Safety leadership
• Drive the transition from process-led compliance to behavioural and cultural excellence Influence senior leadership teams to embed accountability and ownership
• Support the progression of the Group Health & Safety function
• Build alignment across divisions while maintaining operational autonomy

Core Requirements

• An ability to demonstrate experience leading and delivering Health & Safety campaigns A strong track record of influencing indirect reports and engaging senior stakeholders •
• A broad experience across construction, infrastructure, civil engineering and utilities environments
• An excellent communicator with the judgement to keep key stakeholders appropriately informed
