Blaymires Recruitment is representing a respected interior fit-out contractor who is searching for a Pre-Construction Manager to join the business.

The company undertakes high-quality commercial and leisure refurbishment projects across the UK, with projects ranging up to 15M

The company is looking for an experienced pre-construction manager to lead and take projects from inception to development.

You will play a critical role in the planning and preparation phase of a project, ensuring that everything is properly set up before construction work begins.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in and be the face of the company, shaping projects from concept through to passing the project to the delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-construction phase of commercial fit-out projects, including feasibility studies, cost planning, and risk assessment.
• Work alongside the Estimator and present the tender.
• Liaise with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure project objectives and budgets are met.
• Provide technical support and commercial advice to the senior management and project teams.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the business development team in developing proposals and winning new work.
• Write the Pre-Construction and Construction programmes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong pre-construction experience within commercial fit-out, interior refurbishment, or high-spec leisure projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with design and project delivery colleagues.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Have a good eye for detail.
