Site Manager Required for Co. Armagh Industrial Scheme Your new company Hays are pleased to be working with an established Co. Armagh contractor who are seeing their orderbook grow impressively into the second quarter of 2026. This family-owned company has secured high-levels of repeat business from various clients in both public and private sectors, with projects successfully delivered in commercial, industrial, leisure and community sectors. Currently undertaking a new-build industrial scheme in Co. Armagh valued at circa £4m, this company requires the immediate services of an experienced Site Manager to take the project from inception through to completion. Your new role You will begin work in mid-March on a key industrial scheme, commencing the project from greenfield site, overseeing the full project life-cycle. You will be required to supervise subcontractors and trades through to handover, also overseeing all groundwork and steel erection. Your role will involve the supervision & organisation of the site team to ensure the smooth running of the project to the quality required from the client and to the highest standards of health and safety. You will be responsible for the completion of assigned tasks, coordinating all available resources effectively and safely, ensuring the workload is completed within schedule. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful in this role, you must have relevant experience of overseeing site teams on new-build commercial schemes. You will be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and an excellent level of organisation. You will possess a high level of communication and be responsible for ensuring the site team are briefed daily on the scheduled works programme. You will be able to motivate the team to ensure scheduled works are carried out promptly and all reports are addressed. You must have relevant experience working as a Site Manager on build or civils schemes and will be particularly strong on filing reports, planning and Health & Safety protocols. As the project is due to commence later this month, you must be immediately available or working a shortened notice period. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS certification. What you'll get in return This role offers the opportunity to work with an established NI contractor on locally-based works. This role is situated in Co. Armagh and would be a reasonable commute for anyone based in Craigavon, Lurgan, Portadown, Lisburn or Dungannon.
