Role Overview You will be responsible for: Leading the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion Acting as the principal point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Managing multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, designers, contractors and external consultants Preparing project execution plans, programmes and delivery strategies Advising clients on procurement routes and project delivery methodologies Managing NEC and JCT contracts throughout project delivery Monitoring project budgets, programmes, risks and key performance indicators Chairing client, design, progress and stakeholder meetings Managing project governance, reporting and change control procedures Coordinating works across highways, drainage, utilities, bridges, earthworks, flood alleviation and wider infrastructure schemes Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation, CDM Regulations and quality standards Identifying and mitigating commercial and programme risks Supporting and mentoring Assistant Project Managers and junior members of the team Building long-term client relationships and contributing towards business development activities About You Previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a construction consultancy or client-side organisation Proven experience delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects Experience working on highways, utilities, drainage, flood defence, public realm or major infrastructure schemes Strong understanding of NEC contracts, with JCT knowledge also beneficial Excellent programme, risk and stakeholder management skills Confident leading multidisciplinary project teams Strong commercial awareness and client-facing abilities Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management or a related discipline Chartered status (MAPM, MICE, MRICS or equivalent) or working towards professional accreditation Full UK driving licence Company Profile This established multidisciplinary construction consultancy provides Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Cost Consultancy services across the UK.
