Overview; Manages costs, procurement, and measurement of structural concrete repair projects. Ensuring repairs are compliant with standards like BS EN 1504. They bridge the gap between technical inspection and financial management, converting damage survey findings into accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for tender, and managing budgets during repair works. Role; Condition Surveys & Inspection: Coordinating with engineers to identify and document concrete defects (spalling, carbonation, chloride penetration). Quantification of Repairs: Using surveys (including drone and rope access data) to produce detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for tendering, ensuring fair procurement. Cost Consultancy: Preparing budget costs, feasibility studies, and development appraisals for remedial projects. Contract Management: Handling interim valuations, variations, and final accounts to ensure projects remain within budget.
