The role & about the client:

ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established interior fit-out contractor for an experienced Working Foreman to support projects across the UK.

Our client is a respected, family-run business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality interior fit-out, design, and consultancy services. With decades of combined industry experience, they take a hands-on, client-focused approach to every project, ensuring exceptional standards, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.

Their portfolio spans a variety of specialist sectors including healthcare, commercial, and bespoke environments, offering a diverse and interesting workload.

As a Working Foreman, you will play a key role on-site, combining hands-on involvement with supervisory responsibilities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on interior fit-out projects

• Work hands-on alongside trades while supervising site activities

• Coordinate subcontractors and manage site workflow

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification

• Maintain high standards of health and safety on site

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders

• Monitor quality control and ensure all works meet company standards

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman within interior fit-out or similar sectors

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Ability to work both hands-on and in a supervisory capacity

• Willingness to travel and work nationwide

• SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)

• Full UK driving licence
