Our client is a RIBA chartered design-led architectural practice specialising in high-end luxurious residential builds and education buildings. Their work combines thoughtful design with technical precision and pride themselves on delivering high-quality, detailed drawing packages for discerning clients.

The Role
A skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician is sought to join a growing team. You will play a key role in producing accurate, high-quality technical drawings and supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to construction.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a close-knit studio environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on the success of each project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD

  • Develop and coordinate drawing information across all project stages

  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards

  • Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors

  • Assist with planning and building regulations submissions

  • Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction

Requirements

  • UK Architectural experience within an Architectural practice environment.

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)

  • Understanding of building construction, detailing, and regulations

  • Experience working on residential and/or education projects

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a small team environment

  • Good personality, someone who is outgoing, approachable, positive and enthusiastic

Desirable

  • Experience with planning applications and tender packages

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
