Job Title: Working Foreman (Carpentry Background)

Project: Construction of 2 New Build Houses

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Working Foreman with a strong carpentry background to oversee the construction of two new build residential properties. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for supervising site activities while also contributing to carpentry work when required.
Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of site operations on a small residential development
• Carrying out carpentry work alongside the team when required
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
• Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
• Managing site health & safety and maintaining a clean, organised site
• Liaising with the project manager and reporting on progress
• Ordering materials and managing deliveries where necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Carpenter on residential projects
• Strong carpentry background with the ability to work hands-on
• Experience managing small housing developments or new build homes
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Ability to manage trades and maintain project timelines
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
• CSCS card required
• Full UK driving licence preferred
