About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Service Engineer to join a growing fire protection contractor delivering commercial projects across London and the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work on a varied portfolio of commercial schemes, maintaining and servicing sprinkler systems to the highest standard. This position does not currently have an on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing wet, dry, pre-action and deluge sprinkler systems on commercial projects
- Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits in line with BS EN 12845 and LPC standards
- Fault finding and diagnosing issues on sprinkler installations
- Completing system testing and commissioning activities
- Responding to call outs and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner
- Completing all service reports, job sheets and certification accurately and on time
- Liaising with clients, facilities managers and building management teams on site
- Identifying and quoting for additional remedial works where required
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with current health and safety legislation
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment at all times
- Managing van stock and ordering parts as required
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sprinkler Service Engineer within a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of BS EN 12845 and relevant fire protection standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Strong communication and customer facing skills
Salary
45,000- 50,000 Basic + Company Vehicle
