Sprinkler Service Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Service Engineer to join a growing fire protection contractor delivering commercial projects across London and the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work on a varied portfolio of commercial schemes, maintaining and servicing sprinkler systems to the highest standard. This position does not currently have an on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing wet, dry, pre-action and deluge sprinkler systems on commercial projects
• Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits in line with BS EN 12845 and LPC standards
• Fault finding and diagnosing issues on sprinkler installations
• Completing system testing and commissioning activities
• Responding to call outs and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner
• Completing all service reports, job sheets and certification accurately and on time
• Liaising with clients, facilities managers and building management teams on site
• Identifying and quoting for additional remedial works where required
• Ensuring all works are carried out in line with current health and safety legislation
• Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment at all times
• Managing van stock and ordering parts as required
• Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sprinkler Service Engineer within a commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of BS EN 12845 and relevant fire protection standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload
• Strong communication and customer facing skills

Salary
45,000- 50,000 Basic + Company Vehicle
