Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing fire protection contractor working across the critical infrastructure sector. This is a field-based role covering planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, servicing, and minor remedial works on a variety of fire alarm systems. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and fault-find fire alarm systems on client sites Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with industry standards Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently and effectively Complete detailed service reports and compliance documentation Provide technical support and advice to clients where required Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards Liaise with helpdesk, supervisors, and project teams to ensure smooth service delivery Participate in an on-call rota (if required) Requirements: Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (e.g. Gent, Advanced, Notifier, Kentec, etc.) Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills Understanding of BS5839 standards Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Desirable: FIA or equivalent fire alarm qualifications Experience across multiple manufacturer systems Background in commercial or multi-site service contracts

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing M&E contractor delivering projects across the commercial sector. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of mechanical packages on technically challenging projects from pre-construction through to completion. Projects will be located primarily in Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and North London. Key Responsibilities: Manage mechanical (HVAC) packages from inception to handover Oversee subcontractors and site teams to ensure quality and programme targets are met Develop and manage project programmes and budgets Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams Coordinate design, procurement, and installation phases Monitor project performance, costs, and risk Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations Attend and lead project meetings Deliver projects on time and within budget Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E / Building Services Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installations Experience delivering projects across commercial, residential, or industrial sectors Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors Strong commercial awareness Excellent communication and organisational skills Desirable: Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services SMSTS / CSCS certification Experience working for an M&E contractor

We are working with a leading fit out subcontractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver a key project based in Oxford. This is a hands-on role managing the subcontract package on a fast-paced scheme, working closely with the main contractor and driving delivery on site. The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the fit out package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and in line with client expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage the fit out package from site set-up through to completion Coordinate directly with the main contractor and site teams Oversee subcontract labour, trades, and materials Drive programme and ensure key milestones are achieved Manage RFIs, variations, and site documentation Ensure all works meet quality standards and specifications Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates Requirements Proven experience working for a subcontractor as a Project Manager Strong background in internal fit out (drylining, ceilings, partitions, etc.) Experience working alongside main contractors on large-scale projects Commercial awareness and ability to manage variations Strong communication and organisational skills SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
