Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing fire protection contractor working across the critical infrastructure sector. This is a field-based role covering planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, servicing, and minor remedial works on a variety of fire alarm systems. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and fault-find fire alarm systems on client sites Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with industry standards Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently and effectively Complete detailed service reports and compliance documentation Provide technical support and advice to clients where required Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards Liaise with helpdesk, supervisors, and project teams to ensure smooth service delivery Participate in an on-call rota (if required) Requirements: Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (e.g. Gent, Advanced, Notifier, Kentec, etc.) Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills Understanding of BS5839 standards Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Desirable: FIA or equivalent fire alarm qualifications Experience across multiple manufacturer systems Background in commercial or multi-site service contracts

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of mechanical packages on technically challenging projects from pre-construction through to completion. This is a hands-on role managing the subcontract package on a fast-paced scheme, working closely with the main contractor and driving delivery on site. The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the fit out package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and in line with client expectations.
