Earthworks ganger - Full time

Location: A423 Banbury Road, Banbury Road, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 1NQ

A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-7 years

PAYE basis (Must Drive)

On Offer:

• Rate of Pay:

• Rate of £22.46 per hour first 39 hours

• Rate of £33.69 per hour last 11 hours
• Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Overtime When Available:

• Weekdays and Nights Time and a third pay
• Weekends - Time and Half Pay

Candidates must have:

• Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Earthworks Ganger
• Good level of experience of General Earthworks knowledge and experience such as embankments, working with excavations, grading, trenching
• The experience of supervising a small team of operatives
• Expected to lead by example in a working supervisory position
• Carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing operatives/Foreman with regards to safety working to method
• CSCS Blue skilled worker card having achieved or working towards an NVQ for a particular skill, SSSTS

Preferred

• CSCS Blue skilled worker card or CSCS Gold Supervisors card having achieved or working towards an NVQ for a particular skill, SSSTS
• SMSTS - site managers safety training scheme (5 days)
• Manual handling
