Multi Trade Operative

A Housing Association is looking to recruit a Multi Trade Operative to carry out repairs and maintenance works within void properties across North London. This permanent position involves preparing properties for new tenants by completing a range of trade tasks to a high standard while ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and ready for re-letting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance within void properties
• Complete multi-trade works including basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general building repairs
• Prepare properties for re-letting by ensuring all works are completed to the required standard
• Identify additional repair needs and report these appropriately
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant standards
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment within properties

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in a core trade
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within residential properties
• Ability to complete a range of multi-trade works to a good standard
• Strong understanding of health and safety when working in occupied and vacant properties
