Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Services team in Oxford. Graduate Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical building services systems including heating, ventilation and cooling
• Support senior engineers in producing technical drawings, specifications and reports
• Assist with mechanical plant and equipment selection and plantroom layouts
• Contribute to the design and coordination of pipework and ductwork distribution systems
• Attend site visits, surveys and inspections of existing mechanical installations
• Support monitoring of site works to ensure installations meet design specifications
• Assist with reviewing contractor tenders and preparing tender reports
• Work with design software including AutoCAD and Revit
• Assist in developing sustainable and low carbon mechanical design strategies
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other design disciplines where required

Graduate Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Knowledge or exposure to building services design principles
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards
• Strong interest in sustainable and low carbon building design
• Full UK driving licence
