Job Summary
A Joiner is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fittings such as doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, and furniture. The role involves working with a variety of hand and power tools to produce high-quality woodwork according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.
Install doors, window frames, staircases, skirting boards, and fitted furniture.
Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.
Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter.
Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Valid CSCS Card ( Required)
Physical fitness and ability to work on construction site
